Don't Let The Parade Pass Your Kids By - Let Them Be In It INSTEAD!

What do children love even more than watching a parade? Participating in one!
And that is exactly what your toddler can experience on Sunday, September 5th, as part of the 2010 Boulder Tikeapalooza.
Among the various fun and recreational activities taking place during the upcoming Tikeapalooza event will be Colorado’s first-ever “Parade of Tike Bikers,” featuring toddlers riding in unison to support the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Weekend Telethon.
Tikeapalooza runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free for toddlers and their parents. Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to bring their bikes to enjoy the Boulder’s terrific 18,000-square-foot indoor cycling center.
But at 12:30 p.m., parents and older children will make way for the "Parade of Tike Bikers" – strictly for toddlers (ages 18 months to 6 years old) and their Strider PREBikes. This is a great chance to snap some photos or take a video of your toddler in her or his very first parade.
Strider PREBikes™ is proud to serve as the lead sponsor of the 2010 Boulder Tikeapalooza – to be held at the fabulous Boulder Indoor Cycling center. Strider Sports is joining with other supporters to make a donation to The Muscular Dystrophy Association and “Jerry’s Kids” on behalf of each child who attends. The more children who participate, the more money we raise for the MDA!
Online registration for Tikeapalooza and the ‘Colorado Parade of Tike Bikers’ is now open. Onsite registration in Boulder will begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 5th.
Parents and older children who also wish to bike will be asked to make a donation to MDA: Bikers 13 to 17 - $4.50 each; Bikers 18 and older - $7.50 each. There is no charge simply to accompany participating children.
Be sure to invite your friends and neighbors, too. And don’t forget to bring your PREBikes!
Boulder Indoor Cycling is located at 3550 Frontier Avenue, Boulder, 80301. Phone: 303-292-5464.
Remember, this is an indoor event – which means the parade will proceed rain or shine!
